The EarthWell Festival volunteers, or Locals, are the life blood of the festival. Without our volunteers the festival just wouldn't be the same.
There are many things volunteers can help with, not only during the show but before and afterwards as well. Two things all volunteers share is attitude and enthusiasm. To be a volunteer means you believe in the goodness the festival brings and supports, you love being a part of the festival creation and working together with others to accomplish it, and most of all, you really enjoy being a Local on festival days and welcoming the visitors to village.
During Festival days Locals are encouraged to interact with visitors and help their experience be a positive one in any way possible. Smiling at everyone, saying "hello", offering to help with directions, making suggestions for a better experience, all this and more reflects the core attitude of the festival.
We want visitors to the festival to be wowed not only by the content of the festival but by the Locals they encounter as well. In this way you are more than a volunteer at the festival, you become a real part of the festival.
If you think that being a part of the festival crew is something that would be good for you, and for the festival, by all means submit your name to the Volunteer List. We look forward to meeting you.
